You can pause redirects to temporarily disable them without removing their configuration. This is useful when working with multiple rules and you want to turn specific ones on or off without losing them. Paused redirects/sources remain stored in your account and can be resumed at any time.
When a redirect or source is paused, it is ignored during matching. It will not handle any traffic and behaves as if it does not exist, while remaining visible in your dashboard.
Pause a single source
If a redirect contains multiple sources, you can pause individual sources. This allows you to disable a specific rule while keeping the rest of the redirect active.
Pause an entire redirect
You can also pause all sources of a redirect at once. This effectively disables the entire redirect without deleting it, so you can easily enable it again later.
Bulk actions
To manage multiple redirects at once, you can use bulk actions to pause or resume several redirects in one go. This is useful during migrations, testing, or temporary changes.
API
Pause and resume actions are also available through the API, allowing you to automate enabling or disabling redirects as part of your workflows.
